My Background Info

I am a 24 year old graduate of Louisiana State University and a life long fan of the New Orleans Saints. I created this site as an outlet for Saints fans to voice their displeasure with the recent ongoing negotiations between the Saints and Governor Blanco.

As a lifelong Saints fan, having suffered year in and year out, I have come to the realization that true Saints fans are among the most dedicated fans in all of professional sports. We have endured more heartbreaks than most fans could even imagine, but yet we still cling to the hope that "this is our year." Right now I am just hoping that we still have our team in a few years.

Although I have never been a season ticket holder, due to financial reasons, I almost never miss a game on TV or the radio, and if I do there has to be a very, very good reason why. I grew up watching the Saints with my father and we still call each other during the games to yell at the refs or about the play calling. I hope to be able to do the same with my children, so something must be done to keep the Saints here for a long time.

The purpose of this site is for Saints fans to be able to voice their opinions on this matter and to collectively show our support for keeping the Saints in New Orleans for many years to come. Please feel free to send me and email and I would appreciate any help in spreading the word about this site. I am going to do my best to have your comments posted as soon as possible, so please bear with me. Also, I chose not to setup a forum because I know how serious of an issue this is and I want to ensure that only genuine comments are posted. This way I can keep vulgarity, profanity, racism, etc off of the site and we may be taken more seriously. Remember this is very serious... we could lose our Saints if we don't have any say in the decision. Hopefully this will help to have our voices heard.

True Saints fans are bred to be optimistic and even when we bash or badmouth our team, deep down we want only one thing..... our shot at the Superbowl. Please Governor and Tom Benson, don't take that away from us!!
