Welcome to another new page on our website.
During our June HOA meeting the topic of making our neighborhood a "Neighborhood Watch" community
was brought before those in attendance and was positively received by the majority of the present residents.

This page has been setup as an information pool for our residents to learn more about The Neighborhood Watch Program
so we can make an educated and collective decision on this issue. Please post any questions/concerns you have on this page.

Well now they are armed! Today someone came in and stole two guns, TV's,
jewelry, camera and a number of other things. The police seem to think it is
neighbor hood kids and I think so also. It happened between am and 3 pm.

Just letting you know.

They also took my laptop and Flat screen/monitor from my main computer.

6/24/08 Hello Block Captains: One of our block Captains told me Monday evening that some roofing Material was stolen from one of his neighbor’s yards. Please be watching these roofers in our neighbor hood while they are here repairing our roofs during the day. Apparently some are unscrupulous. I also would suggest asking that your shingles be delivered into your back yard behind a gate or in the garage maybe. Thanks Again

Please be alert for people going around looking in mail boxes after the mail runs. My neighbor's mail box was gone through. They seem to be looking for stamped mail with cash inside.. we think because his was a check and they threw it away in the ditch.

We also found some Christmas decoarations that may have been stolen. I made a police report about both incidents.

Thanks to all our volunteers.

Have a Merry Christmas,

David Rathbun, Richmond Neighborhood Watch

12/12/07 ****Several homes had their Christmas decorations stolen Tuesday night on Norfolk. The police have been notifiied of the problem. Please keep your eyes out and report anything suspicious.****
