Tag 11637 ( I think) just came up to me in my garage. A small, cute, freindly
dark brown dog with purple collar and 2008 Rabies tags. He ( I think)
was very freindly and not afraid of me at all. I checked the Lost Pets
page and by the time I went back to the garage the dog had gone, and I
do not see it on the street. The dog looked half poodle or mixed poodle
with short schnauzer type ears. I called Giz and Gizmo but did not see
him appear again. Please, if you care enough to have a rabies tag, please
get a small one with your dogs' name made with your phone number. They
are so inexpensive and if my Miranda were missing I would want someone
to call.

My name is Regina Breaux, I live on Asheville. My mother, who also lives on Asheville has lost her dog. Her fence was damaged when the storm came through and her dog got out of the fence. She is devastated. My mother is a widow and has depended on this dog for companionship. The dog is a cute miniature schnauzer and she was just groomed this past week. She answers to Gizmo or Gizzy. We live on Chapel Hill and there is a golden retriever (more reddish than golden) that has adopted us after the storm. He's very friendly and affectionate and has a black collar with no tags on it. If this is your dog please claim him before he gets run over. He has no fear of vehicles and just walks into the road. Hi, my name is Nicole Bondi, we live on 36148 Norfolk. Ave. Last night Sept. 27th our family dog went missing around 7:00 P.M. We looked all over the neighborhood to find him and even asked people door to door and no one had seen him. My neighbor last saw him around 7:00 and she tried to get him but he ran from her. He is a Shih-Tzu with Tan, black and white markings. I just got him groomed so his body is shaved and his tail remains long and curly. He goes by the name Furbee. He is 1 yrs. old and very sweet, will go to anyone. I think someone might have picked him up and put him in their house b/c he is a house dog. Please . please , please help us get him back. I posted flyers up on all the stop signs last night in hopes that someone will call me in the morning. He is desperately missed by myself and 3 small kids. Please help!!!!!! have seen this dog roaming throughout the neighborhood & some neighbors
refer to him as Little Dude” .... I do not know who the owners are, but one evening while I was walking on Portsmouth--this dog was being called by the name of “small fra” (something like that) & I assume it was the owners calling him b/c they kept calling him. This home was located on Portsmouth on the left hand side if you are turning from Petersburg. (Less than 6 houses from Petersburg intersection) Hope this helps! “Little Dude” looks like he wants some TLC! |
