CHILDREN

Our children’s ministry at SCBC is exciting and energetic.  We believe that it is important to teach our Children the truth in an engaging way that they can understand.  We have a great group of parents and volunteers who have come together to make sure that our children are taken care of and not only enjoy their time at “the Creek”, but also learn a lot about our Savior Jesus Christ.

W.O.M

Women On Mission’s is a group of women who meet every month to learn about missions across the nation and the world.  These women pray for missionaries by name and help promote our annual Annie Armstrong and Georgia Barnette Offerings.

MUSIC

The music ministry at SCBC is very unique.  Many people have said that they have never been a part of a more musical church.  We have many various instrumentalists who regularly lead in worship as well as many people who love to lift their voices in song.

Our choir is an exciting ministry to be a part of.  We meet for practice each Sunday at 4:30 to prepare songs to lead in worship.

Our choir also presents a Christmas and Easter musical each year.  These are very exciting services to be a part of as they are intentionally focused to present the Gospel of Christ entirely through song.

SENIOR ADULTS

The Senior Adults at SCBC, also known as “Twilighters”, are an active bunch.  They have regular activities including Senior Adult Choir, Ladies Prayer Group and social gatherings.

Additionally, the “Twilighters” typically take at least one trip each year focused on bringing them closer God and to each other.

 COLLEGE & CAREER

Our location on the outskirts of Baton Rouge offers us a tremendous opportunity to reach college students and young adults.  With LSU and BRCC both close by many of our students stay near home for college with provides them the opportunity to stay involved here at “the Creek”
